Thanks Saroja! Unfortunately there are always going to be people who judge genres that they’ve never even given a chance, or judge by a small handful of the novels that fit into it. The best thing we can do as readers and writers of said genres is to ignore them. Responding only encourages them!

I have faced similar situation. I like reading romance as well as to write. People have a wrinkly face even when I say I like romance novels. But hey! What do they know about it!!
