I have a book due out on Amazon April 11th (Tripio) and trying to get the word out via the internet is quite discouraging. When I need a little momentum I do the unthinkable and head out to talk up my book face to face with living people! Since my novel is set in a Starbucks and is told from a baristas viewpoint, I head out with a handful of leave behinds to anywhere coffee can be found. I then ask if I can leave my flyer which engenders conversation about the book. I don’t know how it will affect sales but seeing people smile at the cover and ask about the book gives me the jolt I need to keep trying.
